Important notice from TLScontact Chengdu

19th September 2022

Dear applicants, starting from 19th September, the Cyprus Visa Application Centre in Chengdu will reopen. Please kindly check the detailed opening hours in column "Address & Opening Hours". We kindly remind you of cooperating with the following measures on preventing and controlling Covid-19:

  • To provide a negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours;
  • To scan the venue code;
  • To wear mask during your presence in the Visa Application Centre is located.

Notice of relocation : Visa Application Centre of Beijing

15th July 2022

From 1st August 2022, Visa application Centre of Beijing will be relocated to following address: Room 1009-1010, Yingdi Center (Tower A, Wangxin building), Chaoyang district Beijing. Our Centre in 3F Parkview Green, No.9 Dongdaqiao Road, Chaoyang District will be closed from 1st August 2022.

Important notice for application visiting Shanghai Visa Application Centre

2nd June 2022

Starting from June 6th, the Visa Application Centre for France will be reopen. Please kindly check the detailed opening hours in column “Address & Opening Hours”. We kindly remind you of cooperating with the following measures on preventing and controlling Covid-19:

  • To provide a negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours
  • To scan the venue code
  • To wear mask during your presence in the shopping mall where the Visa Application Centre is located

Important notice

13th April 2022

Please be advised that from 13th April 2022, TLScontact Visa Application Centers can accept all visa applications, a prior approval from the embassy is no longer required.

Change in visa requirements for minors

13th April 2022

Please be advised that from 13th April 2022, all minor applicants need to provide the original notarial certificate of Hukou(translated), certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus.

Updated requirements on travel medical insurance

13th April 2022

Please be informed the travel medical insurance must cover medical costs and medical repatriation, including expenses related to Covid-19, valid for the whole duration of the issued visa. Minimum coverage 300.000 RMB.

Important Notice

20th January, 2022

Dear applicants, please be advised that according to the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus, all applicants must get a prior approval from the embassy before submitting their visa application. Visa applications without a prior approval will not be accepted.

To obtain a special approval, please contact the embassy directly by following the page the official website of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Beijing.

Important Notice

20th January, 2022

Please be advised that from 20th January 2022, Original Hukou of minor applicant will be transfer to the embassy along with passports and documents, original Hukou will be return to applicants after the application procedure is completed. New Visa Application Form

24th November, 2021

Dear applicants, please kindly be informed that from November 29 2021, applicants need to use the new version of Visa Application Form to submit the visa application. You can login to your account, fill in the information online and the system will automatically generate a printable version of the new visa application form.

Notice of relocation : Visa Application Centre of Guangzhou

3rd September, 2021

From 13th September 2021, Visa application Centre of Guangzhou will be relocated to following address : Room 811, Taixing Business Building, No 599 Guangzhou Dadaozhong, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. The Centre in Dongbao Building will be closed from 9th September 2021.

Important Notice (2020.03.14)

Dear applicants, please be advised that the government of Cyprus has announced closure of country borders for 15 days effective immediately. In view of that, no visa applications will be accepted until further notice. If you have questions regarding the situation, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We will be re-scheduling upcoming appointments and returning unprocessed applications. Apologies for the inconvenience.

New Visa Application Centres

We are happy to announce that we will be opening nine additional Visa Application Centres for Cyprus. Soon, you will be able to apply for a visa to Cyprus in our Visa Application Centres in Chongqing, Fuzhou, Shenzhen, Changsha, Nanjing, Xi’an, Jinan, Kunming and Hangzhou.

You will be able book an appointment for submitting your application in one of these Visa Application Centres. In addition to regular submission hours, you will also be able book a Prime Time Afternoon appointment and get additional assistance from our staff inside the centre. Please see the list of new Added Value Services on our website or ask our staff when you visit the Visa Application Centre.

Change in visa requirements for minors

Please be advised that Certificate of Family Relationship (Kinship certificate) has been removed from the list of compulsory documents for all visa types except for Visiting Family and Friends visa type. Please check the updated document lists in the section: Documents and Visa Categories.

For the attention of the representatives applying on applicant's behalf!

Please be advised that you’re now required to submit a declaration letter in the event that during your appointment it is discovered that your application files do not correspond to the requirements of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus, or some of the required documents are missing. This declaration letter MUST BE signed by the applicant themselves.

We strongly advise you to review the documents in advance and have original declaration letter in case some of the documents are missing and/or are incomplete. Please review FAQ section for more information, especially question 2.6. The application will not be accepted if the application file doesn’t satisfy the requirements outlined by the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus, available in the document list for each corresponding visa type, and the declaration letter signed by the applicant themselves is missing.
