Dear applicants, please be advised that according to the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus, all applicants must get a prior approval from the embassy before submitting their visa application. Visa applications without a prior approval will not be accepted.

Dear applicants, please be advised that the government of Cyprus has announced closure of country borders for 15 days effective immediately. In view of that, no visa applications will be accepted until further notice. If you have questions regarding the situation, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are happy to announce that we will be opening nine additional Visa Application Centres for Cyprus. Soon, you will be able to apply for a visa to Cyprus in our Visa Application Centres in Chongqing, Fuzhou, Shenzhen, Changsha, Nanjing, Xi’an, Jinan, Kunming and Hangzhou.
You will be able book an appointment for submitting your application in one of these Visa Application Centres. In addition to regular submission hours, you will also be able book a Prime Time Afternoon appointment and get additional assistance from our staff inside the centre. Please see the list of new Added Value Services on our website or ask our staff when you visit the Visa Application Centre.
Please be advised that Certificate of Family Relationship (Kinship certificate) has been removed from the list of compulsory documents for all visa types except for Visiting Family and Friends visa type. Please check the updated document lists in the section: Documents and Visa Categories.
Please be advised that you’re now required to submit a declaration letter in the event that during your appointment it is discovered that your application files do not correspond to the requirements of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus, or some of the required documents are missing. This declaration letter MUST BE signed by the applicant themselves.
We strongly advise you to review the documents in advance and have original declaration letter in case some of the documents are missing and/or are incomplete. Please review FAQ section for more information, especially question 2.6. The application will not be accepted if the application file doesn’t satisfy the requirements outlined by the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus, available in the document list for each corresponding visa type, and the declaration letter signed by the applicant themselves is missing.
